It's about ACCESS and DISTRIBUTION

Whoever controls the PODIUM, controls the FORUM, frames the DEBATE, determines the CONVERSATION.

And...whoever controls the podium, controls the MIC. In the case of a podium, the MIC IS THE MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION.

Other MEDIA OF COMMUNICATION: FILM, VIDEO, COMPACT DISC, NEWSPAPER, RADIO, TV, INTERNET, MAGAZINES, ZINES, BLOGS, BILLBOARDS, POSTERS, GRAFFITI, IPODS, MUSIC, ART.

A first step to a PUBLIC VOICE entails access to the tools of these media (cameras, videocams, editing equipment, sound studios, printers and copiers, film, cd's, paper, instruments, computers, etc.).

The more difficult and critical step entails gaining access to COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS...or developing one's own MEDIA DISTRIBUTION NETWORK.

Control of the DISTRIBUTION NETWORK means control of the PODIUM...and control of the PODIUM frames the DEBATE and CONVERSATION.
