People seem to think that civil rights are reserved for "us", not for "them." It amazes me to hear conservatives attacking the ACLU, who have even defended the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazis, if I'm not mistaken, as well as leftist causes. Buddha was right; life involves suffering. And some of it we bring on ourselves or each other.
