COMMUNICATION-AT-A-DISTANCE

We sit in cafes typing into laptops, sitting amidst other people and communicating with people at a distance, far away.

People walk by us on the street talking to other people far away on their cell
phones.

Singles screen potential dates through internet PERSONALS and then set up an e-mail correspondence.

It is all COMMUNICATION-AT-A-DISTANCE, screened-off from those nearby, impersonal,
cautious.

It is communication that FENDS OFF ANY MEANINGFUL EXCHANGE.

It is SAFE. It is CHASTE. It is STERILE.

And by WALLING Off those immediately nearby, our headset-friendly NON-COMMUNICATION
IS DEADLY.

"Just Following Orders" WON'T CUT IT

Eavesdropping, wire tapping, domestic surveillance and spying, propogation of misinformation (e.g., the "TALON" unit in the DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE): all of these add up to a plethora of "extralegal"- i.e., illegal- FEDERAL, STATE, and LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES.

In time, some of those who were "JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS" will be held ACCOUNTABLE IN COURTS OF LAW and in the HIGH TRIBUNALS OF PUBLIC OPINION for spying on and intimidating their FELLOW CITIZENS and COMPATRIOTS.

In spite of sad diversionary tactics, many will be called to account for their behavior.

What if...

What if the 9/11 Commission had explored in depth the relationship between the BUSH ADMINISTRATIONS and the SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY.

It is in the crucible of this relationship that the Saudi resistance and 'Al Qaeda'
gained strength and recruits.

What if the US had not backed the REACTIONARY FORCES in Saudi Arabia?

Would the US have undercut the resistance, 'Al Qaeda'?

WOULD THE 9/11 ATTACKS HAVE BEEN AVERTED?

IMPEACH BUSH

By ordering the NSA to perform DOMESTIC WIRETAPPING outside of the legal procedures in The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, George W. BUSH BROKE THE LAW.

And, HE DESECRATED OUR CONSTITUTION.

He believes he can "beat the rap" by playing the "wartime presidency" card...and by continually playing to people's fears.

I visited "PIMPWIZ.blogspot.com"...and though I didn't follow their advice to the "au current" METROSEXUAL to buy his LADY a SILK BATHROBE for...

CHRISTMAS or HANNUKAH or KWAANZA or EID or SOLSTICE or NEW YEAR or ASIAN NEW YEAR...

in short, for THE HOLIDAYS...and while I found the SITE trivially COMMERCIAL and, in that sense, BORING!!!! (to me)...still, THE SITE IS NOT OBJECTIONABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
